The Advanced Field Uniform is specifically aimed at personnel working in high-risk occupations such as law enforcement and military where the risk of fire from accident or deliberate action is pre-eminent. JDS Tactical's uniform is a cross between the old-style BDU and new-style ACU with some features which are common in the Australian market. Lighter than most flame-retardant uniforms, it uses a 6.5-ounce blend of cotton modacrylic all sewn to Mil-Spec standards. The trial versions were released in AUSCAM and Multi-Style Cam, as shown in picture, but the uniform, including a one-piece tactical coverall, also will be available in black, navy and coyote tan.
